The macro background of the countries they operate in are not that strong for the most part. They need to control their costs and price some of their lines better but should turn to profitability. Too expensive.

PAST TOP PICK
(A Top Pick Oct 22/20, Up 24%) Undisputed e-commerce and fintech leader in Latin America. He let it go in January at $1950. Buy it here around $1600, add at 1500 and 1400. 12-month price target of $2108. A trading stock.
PARTIAL BUY

Purchased it recently in one of his funds. It is the latin-american version of Amazon. Their operations focus in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. E-commerce will continue to grow, and it is a good way to get exposure in an area that is not typically on investor's radar. It is expensive, but it may always be expensive.

TOP PICK
Dominant force in digital payments and e-commerce in Latin America. Compelling long-term investment. Building an eco system. Their payment stream business grows at 52% annually. High valuation, so buy in quarters. No dividend. (Analysts’ price target is $1242.09)

BUY ON WEAKNESS

Stockchase Research Editor: Michael O'Reilly A similar e-commerce opportunity like SHOP is to North America, MELI is to Latin America. The company uses its platform to help businesses sell their items online and also has a fintech side of their business to help manage cash payments. The company reported strong Q1 earnings with sales growth over 30% for the past five years and the trend is catching on in the region. The company reports earnings this week, so there could be some opportune volatility. We would look to a pullback towards $1000 as an excellent entry point with an eye to re-test highs near $1200 or towards $1400.

PARTIAL SELL
It's at its all-time high. It needs to pass its last peak (it's close to it now). Otherwise, take half your shares now.
TOP PICK
Has fallen 17% from recent highs due to macro economic issues. The eBay of Latin America. No dividend. (Analysts’ price target is $639.50)
TOP PICK
Online marketplace that serves a lot of the countries in the South and Latin America. Volatile stock and is a little erratic now. Fantastic fundamentals. Recently broke out of a long (December-June) range, so as long as it continues to trade around the $58 range, it has a lot of potential to go higher.
