Uranium One Inc. (UUU.TO)

SELL ON STRENGTH

As long as Cameco is in trouble then the sector is in trouble. Reduce into the rallies. He doesn’t see a bottom yet.

DON'T BUY

Junior stocks are going nowhere. In other words, the risk aspect has gone right out of this market. The price of uranium isn’t helping at all.

COMMENT

This is one of the best uranium producers with good, solid Russians behind it. Kazakhstan is overtaking Canada as a producer. If you own, you can hold it but you’ll have to be patient.

BUY

Cameco (CCO-T) is your most defensive play in the uranium space. If you are looking at something that has probably more optionality and upside, presuming uranium prices, then this is the one to go for. All the operations in Kazakhstan are going really well and they have a fair bit of growth ahead of them.

BUY

(Market Call Minute) Nice deal they did for United Arab Emeritus to supply them.

DON'T BUY

(Market Call Minute.) Has become quite sour on the whole nuclear industry.

RISKY

Bit producer of Uranium. Good way to play the uranium space and he is positive long term on uranium as China grows its nuclear ambitions. He would prefer Cameco for lower risk play.

BUY
Very constructive on the uranium sector and this is one of the “go to” names. A lot of their production and production growth is coming out of Kazakhstan. Will double production over the next couple of years to 20 million pounds. One of the lowest cost producers. Consistently delivered on guidance and met market expectations.
COMMENT
Likes uranium. We are facing some massive energy issues. Uranium has to be part of your holdings within the energy components but he would rather have the light sweet crude.
DON'T BUY
There is a lot of interesting speculation about what is going to happen with uranium. On the one hand, Japan is cranking up its nuclear reactors again. On the other hand, natural gas is in so much abundance in major markets and is such a cost effective solution for power generation that nuclear plants that were planned may never get built now.
WATCH
Thinks there is some interest in this sector in the last few days. Looks interesting longer term. Buy producers that have $20-30 cost with $50 spot. Hasn’t bought yet but is thinking about it.
BUY
One of the few producing publicly traded uranium companies. Their production happens to be in Kazakhstan, which has its ups and downs but is very low cost. He is bullish on nuclear industry and uranium. This is one of the better ways to play it. 51% controlled by the Russians but he thinks it is a good company to own.
DON'T BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Not cheap enough.
COMMENT
The chart shows a consolidating pattern. The only way you can trade these things is to see if they bounce off the bottom and sell them off of the top.
COMMENT
He would love to buy a uranium company. Most of the uranium companies have debt loads that are too high for him. Those that have uranium in countries such as Russia always concern him about corruption. Also, the government could change the rules and say they want a bigger piece of the action.
