Stock Opinions by Kevin Simpson

STRONG BUY

They crushed it across the board recently. Has recommended it before and does so now. They beat top and bottom.

BUY ON WEAKNESS

He's been writing many calls on this the past 3 months. If this pulls back next Thursday when it reports, he will add to his holding. Earnings may not be great, but he will own this the long term. Also, the PE has declined.

SELL

He just sold it. He was recommending this until their earnings report proved him wrong. Their margins were 8% vs. 13% historically. He's humbled. It will have to fall a lot before he considers buying it back.

BUY

Just bought it after they delivered a blow-out quarter last time (report next week) with top and bottom line beats. Good dividend growth. He believes in infrastructure long term. Bought this before earnings to start building a position.

BUY ON WEAKNESS

Is skeptical that them buying Hess will double their free cash flow by 2027, but not without risk. Earnings were okay, 8.5% better than last quarter but lower than a year ago. Had owned this 11 years, but would buy on a pullback. The dividend is secure and growing.

BUY

Upgraded today and he agrees. His #1 healthcare pick this year. A key drug will come off patent in 2028, but they have tons of drugs to replace it. They beat and bottom lines.

COMMENT

Five to nine stocks have led this bull market, but only in the past week is it expanding to other stocks and sectors. The Fed needs to stop raising rates until we're in a true bull market. The trick is, you need to invest before that bull runs.

PARTIAL SELL

Happy to own Apple and Microsoft, but they've risen too far too fast and gotten ahead of their skiis, so he has taken some profits, but held onto the rest of the shares, because they can grow into their multiples.
