An “IF” stock that if something happens, will there actually be a mine. 2 potential mines in BC with massive gold deposits but you don't know if they can be economically mined and there's still a lot of permitting.
COMMENT
Can see gold near term at $1250 but longer term he continues to use $900-$1000. This company has massive projects and good partners.
COMMENT
Gold has an upward bias but he is neutral on it over the next year or so. Regarding this company, there are better places to put your money but if you are really a bull on gold, this will provide higher leverage because of their projects.
SELL
(Market Call Minute.) Have 3 projects and none of them seem to be moving forward with any certain timeline to them.
DON'T BUY
Has come back to life primarily because of their Alaskan properties and the price of gold is back in vogue. Prefers others.
DON'T BUY
Have some decisions to make – are they going to sell some assets or are they going to bring them into production in which case they would need capital.
BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Believes gold prices will be going higher.
COMMENT
Likes Gold. They have a big property. Financing is going to be a problem going forward. If you are looking for assets in the ground, you could buy this one.
DON'T BUY
Gold has broken out above $900 and expects the industry will have positive earnings growth this year. Ranks 609 in his model so he would guess that they are not profitable or producing. Expected to break even in 2008, lose $.12 in 2009. Prefers others. (See Top Picks.)
BUY
(Market Call Minute.) Likes gold very, very much.
DON'T BUY
Gold could not have had a more perfect environment to spike and it didn’t. If the conditions are as you would expect and id didn’t happen then maybe we missed something. Tougher time coming.
DON'T BUY
2 Gold projects in northern British Columbia. Very big deposits. Stock came down because one of their projects had too high a capital cost. He is not a big believer of this area for the moment.
DON'T BUY
Has no idea why the stock has gone up so much. Capital costs where a lot higher then expected on the Galore Creek project. This caused the 50% drop in stock price. Their other property is in Alaska, which could be expensive.
BUY
Consider it as a replacement for Miramar. Hold it if you have it. Thinks in the long run is a takeover target.
DON'T BUY
The stock is fully valued. He wouldn't buy because it is fully valued and there is no production upside.
